APBC2020

Call for Tutorials

APBC2020 calls for tutorial proposals on all the core and new topics in bioinformatics and computational genomics. Submissions on machine learning, multi-omics, and single cell data analysis are especially encouraged. Two three-hour tutorials will be selected and honorarium of $500 will be granted for each tutorial. Each tutorial may include one or two instructors. Please, address questions to tutorial co-chairs: Dr. Dougu Nam (dougnam@unist.ac.kr) and Dr. Qin Ma (Qin.Ma@osumc.edu).

Each tutorial proposal (maximum 3 pages) must include:

• Title
• Name(s), affiliation(s), and short biography (maximum 200 words) of the instructor(s)
• Description of main issue(s) to be addressed and timeliness (or importance)
• Description of hands-on (if any)
• Contents and format (lecture or hands-on)
• Interesting results/figures/examples
• Past experience of tutorials, if appropriate
